Ruling on untying the knots of the shroud when the deceased is placed in the grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it better to untie the knots from the head of the deceased and leave the knots at his feet and middle, or should they all be untied?

Answer:
The knots with which the shroud is tied should all be untied; this is what is preferred. The Sunnah is to untie them all in the grave. If he is placed in his grave, all the knots are untied, the first and the last. This is the Sunnah. The place where they are remains in its place.
