Ruling on repeating the funeral prayer for the deceased

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to repeat the funeral prayer for the deceased?

Answer:
If it coincides, there is no harm. If he prayed for him, and then he coincided with people who are praying for him, and he prayed with them at the grave, there is no harm and no blame in that. It is like repeating another prayer. If he prayed in a mosque, and then came to a mosque for a need, or to attend a lesson, and they are praying, he prays with them, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded. Therefore, repeating it for a legal reason is permissible.
