What is the authenticity of what al-Bukhari narrated regarding the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) contemplating suicide?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, this story of the suicide was mentioned by 'Abd al-Razzaq in the Musnad without this addition that al-Zuhri brought. Can we rule that it is denounced?

The Shaykh : We say of it: it is denounced, whether 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated it as you mentioned, or he did not narrate it, because it is a report with a broken chain.

The questioner : 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated the hadith in the Musnad without this addition.

The Shaykh : I have answered you, may Allah bless you. I have answered your question, but I hope we do not move to another topic before finishing the first one. I think the previous objection or observation is not applicable to al-Bukhari, because the story came to al-Bukhari in this form, so he mentioned it, especially since the story is long and very long. So the scholar, and even the student of knowledge, takes from the story what suits al-Bukhari's condition. For example, the suspended hadiths are not on al-Bukhari's condition; they contain authentic, good, and weak hadiths. Who knows this?
So ask the people of the message if you do not know. فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
[An-Nahl 16:43]
This is what I have, and Allah knows best.
but over every possessor of knowledge is one [more] knowing. وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ
[Yusuf 12:76]
O Abu Islam.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you. Others, so that the time does not pass?
