The ruling on one who prays alone and then repeats it in congregation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a man prays the prayer alone, and then repeats it in congregation, is the first prayer the obligatory one, or the second?

Answer:
The first one is the obligatory prayer, based on the explicit statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he mentioned the rulers and that they delay the prayer from its times. He said:
Observe the prayer at Its proper time, and if you can say it along with them do so, for it would be a superetogatory prayer for youصل الصلاة لوقتها، فإن أدركتها معهم فصل، فإنها لك نافلة، ولا تقل صليت فلا أصلي
