The first message of this episode, Your Eminence! A message reached the program from one of our brother listeners from Riyadh. He says: Your brother (M. L. M), our brother, to summarize his message: he has been married for some time, and he prays, praise be to Allah, and so does his wife, but he suspects her. What do you advise, Your Eminence? And the message is lengthy?
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows:
It is obligatory for the believer to avoid bad suspicions, except when there are clear signs and evident proofs indicating otherwise; for Allah the Exalted says: [Al-Hujurat: 12], and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1988Sahih (Darussalam). Therefore, it is obligatory for the husband to have good thoughts about his wife, to interpret her actions in the best possible way, and to advise her if he suspects something, guiding her toward good and not obeying Satan in baseless bad suspicions that have no foundation, no evidence, and no witnesses. However, if there is something that supports some suspicion, then he should advise, guide, and warn her, while monitoring the situation until the doubt is resolved. We ask Allah for guidance for everyone. Yes.

O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌBeware of Zann (suspicion), for indeed Zann is the falsest of speech.
