The ruling on staying in Mina until midnight only

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A message was received for the program from Bahrain—Al-Muharraq—sent by one of the sisters there, identified as (S. M. A.) from the State of Bahrain. Our sister asks a set of questions. In her first question, she says: She performed the obligatory Hajj and was leaving Mina with the group at midnight. The people in charge of the group told us that this suffices for the overnight stay. Is her Hajj valid?
Answer: Yes, her Hajj is valid, and she owes nothing. If she stays in Mina for most of the nights, that is sufficient. However, spending the night and remaining in Mina is better, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions did. As for the one who leaves Mina in the latter half of the night for Makkah or another place, his overnight stay is valid, and that does not harm him. Yes.
The presenter: In the latter half, if he leaves in the latter half?
The Shaykh: Yes, meaning: after half the night has passed, yes. Or, for example, if he went to Makkah at the beginning of the night for tawaf or something else, then returned to Mina for most of the night, that is sufficient.
The presenter: The important thing is that he stays for half the night, whether from the beginning of the night or the end of it?
The Shaykh: Yes.. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
