Ruling on a woman lengthening her fingernails

Her second question: What is the ruling on a woman lengthening her fingernails without applying dyes to them?
Answer: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set the limit for trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hair, and shaving the pubic hair at forty nights. It is established in the authentic collections from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: Muslim narrated it in his Sahih, may Allah have mercy on him, and al-Nasa'i and a group of others narrated it with the wording: , so it is obligatory for both men and women that the limit be this amount, forty nights. When the period is completed, it becomes obligatory to trim the mustache, clip the nails, pluck the armpit hair, and shave the pubic hair, and one must not exceed this, neither in the nails, nor the mustache, nor the shaving of the pubic hair, nor the plucking of the armpit hair.
