What is the ruling on a woman having artificial nails attached?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on attaching artificial nails? I say: knowing that I strive to ensure that men never see them. Is this included in the ruling on the woman who joins hair, mentioned in the hadith?

Answer:
There is no basis for attaching artificial nails, and it is not permissible to attach them. Rather, it is obligatory and a recommended practice to cut and trim them in less than forty days. Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We were given a time limit for trimming the mustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hair, and shaving the pubic hair, that we should not leave this for more than forty nights." In another wording: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set a time limit for us." So the man and the woman are commanded to cut their nails in less than forty nights. How can you attach nails to them? This is reprehensible and has no justification. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
