The Shaykh’s advice to remain steadfast in the religion and follow the righteous predecessors

The Shaykh : But you must be steadfast and not lean to the right or the left, no matter what you encounter, no matter what difficulties you face... just as was the case with the early Muslims. It is well known that the early Muslims left their lands, their homelands, their wealth, and their lands, and they emigrated to Allah and His Messenger, and they did not care at all about the blessings they left behind, because the greatest blessing that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) bestowed upon them was that He guided them to Islam, which overwhelmed all the material blessings they were living with. Therefore, they were worthy of Allah’s (Blessed and Exalted is He) support for them.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Therefore, all Muslims must follow the example of their righteous predecessors, follow their guidance, and be patient with their patience.
