The ruling on raising the hands and making du'a between the iqamah and the takbir of ihram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The question: Our brother also says: I have noticed that some of the worshippers, when the mu'adhdhin finishes the iqamah for the prayer, raise their hands and make du'a, and this is before the takbir of ihram. Did this come from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?
The answer: There is no basis for this, and it is not reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make du'a with anything between the iqamah and entering into the prayer. It is not recorded that he raised his hands at this point. Rather, it is not befitting for anyone to do so, because it is contrary to the Sunnah. Yes.
