The authenticity of the report of a black snake emerging from a man’s grave at his burial

What is the authenticity of the report that is currently circulating among people: that a man died, and when those who were burying him placed him in the grave, a black snake emerged beside the deceased. They dug several graves for him, but this snake emerged from each of them. It was then said to him: “You were asked about this, and you ordered that he be buried in one of those graves.” When they buried him, the snake coiled around the deceased and devoured his tongue, as this story was reported and we heard it. We ask your Eminence, and we hope for an answer, knowing that the commotion over this matter has increased in these days?

There is no basis for this, and this has not reached me. This is a lie with no basis.

Question: Some of them swear by the Great Allah that you said this?

Answer: It is all a lie. They lied about the Messengers, my brother. They lied about the Messengers; it is not about me.
