Treatment of a snake bite

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7519 )
Q2: If a person is bitten by a snake, we have a man who treats it by tying a palm frond at the site of the bite, and when the victim recovers, this palm frond is removed from him. Is this correct, and what is the evidence for it?
A2: It is not correct, and it is not permissible. Rather, it is treated with ruqyah (healing by Qur'anic recitation) using Surat al-Fatihah and similar chapters and verses from the Qur'an, and with the authentic Prophetic supplications. It is also treated by tying the limb between the bite and the heart so that the poison does not reach the heart with the blood. Then, the skin is incised at the site of the bite so that the poison comes out with the blood, and the teeth of the insect that bit are expelled.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
