Q6: If a man begins his prayer, and this prayer is an obligatory prayer from the five daily prayers, and he sees a snake or a scorpion in front of him, does he interrupt his prayer and kill it, or does he complete his prayer?
A6: Yes, he interrupts his prayer and kills the snake or the scorpion; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Abi Dawud 921Sahih (Al-Albani) It was narrated by the people of the Sunan and authenticated by Ibn Hibban. And if it is possible to kill them while he is in prayer, there is no harm, and his prayer is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
