Ruling on a woman uncovering her face before her husband's brothers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I have a married sister, and her husband forces her not to observe hijab in front of his brothers. Is it permissible for me to cut off ties with them? I have already advised them, and the husband in particular, but the husband refused. What is required of me? And what is required of the wife?

Answer:
She must observe hijab, even if he is not pleased. She has no right to obey him in disobedience to Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Obedience is in matters which are good and universally recognized.إنما الطاعة في المعروف
Sunan Abi Dawud 2625Sahih (Al-Albani)
If he is weak in jealousy and orders her to uncover herself before his brothers, uncles, companions, and friends, she has no right to obey him in that. We ask Allah for guidance for everyone.
