Ruling on the Feast of Circumcision

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:..........؟

Answer:
There is nothing wrong with it; it is a blessing from among the blessings of Allah. If he makes it a feast and performs the 'aqiqah sacrifice for him with two animals, there is nothing wrong. He should invite to it whom he loves from his brothers, as is the recommended practice (sunnah).
If it is at the time of the 'aqiqah, on the seventh day, or if it is delayed... after that, it is a recommended practice (sunnah) for the man to sacrifice two animals for a male child, and one for a female child. As for mere circumcision, there is nothing wrong with it, also in the sense of the family gathering together.

Question: Distributing sweets for circumcision in some neighboring countries?

Answer: I do not know of anything regarding this. As for making food for the circumcision for the one who circumcises, or for the people of goodness, rejoicing in the circumcision among them, I do not know of anything wrong with it. This was known from old times. The feast of circumcision is among the permissible and known feasts.
As for doing it in a specific manner adopted by the Christians, this is not permissible. If the manner in which they do it is a manner customary among the Jews, or the Christians, or other disbelievers, no, one should not imitate them. The manner of circumcision among Muslims should be a distinct, sound manner, not resembling that of the enemies of Allah.

Question: Circumcision of the girl?

Answer: It is a recommended practice (sunnah) if it is facilitated by someone who knows how to do it, that is good.
