It was said to a Muslim who was committing some sins: "Abandon the sins, for among their effects is that Allah does not grant success to the sinner in matters of his religion or his worldly life." This is what the deluded are deceived by, but if they were to remember and look, they would know that Allah’s respite for these people harms them and does not benefit them, as He said (Exalted and Majestic is He): [Al Imran: 178]. We ask Allah for safety.
And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, says: [Ibrahim:42], and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: [Fatir:45].
If America had been destroyed, and the English had been destroyed, and France had been destroyed, and Communism had been destroyed, and every sinner had been destroyed, no one would remain. But Allah has wisdom in the continuation of these nations until their appointed time, until the appointed period comes and the Day of Resurrection arrives; then everything will end, and every worker will be recompensed for his deed. But Allah sent the messengers, made the warning clear, clarified the truth, and explained to His servants the means of salvation and the means of destruction; so that whoever perishes perishes with clear proof, and whoever lives lives with clear proof—may Allah grant us safety.

And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِثْمًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌAnd He, Glorified and Exalted is He, says:
And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُAnd if Allah were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, He would not leave upon the earth any creature. But He defers them for a specified term
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّىIf America had been destroyed, and the English had been destroyed, and France had been destroyed, and Communism had been destroyed, and every sinner had been destroyed, no one would remain.
