Explaining the obligation upon the servants today, which is striving for salvation from the punishment of Allah. And explaining that one should not be deluded by the mere utterance of "There is no god but Allah."

The Shaykh : But what is it that the Muslim should strive for with earnest effort and exert himself in with utmost diligence? Is it only to be saved from eternal abode in the Fire, regardless of how long that stay in the Fire is? Or is it to be saved from entering the Fire as an entry of punishment, rather than an entry of passing through, as is the description of those who fear Allah, as we mentioned in the previous verse? There is no doubt that it is obligatory for us to strive to save ourselves from entering the Fire such that it touches us with any of its punishment. We must strive for salvation from the Fire touching us with punishment. So what is the way to that? The way to that, as you all know, is to establish this testimony and to act in accordance with its implications, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated in the mass-transmitted hadith: Sahih Muslim 22. In the hadith, there are two very important matters.
The first is that this testimony saves its owner, or at least saves its utterer, from the punishment of this world, meaning from being killed.Sunan an-Nasa'i 3983Sahih (Darussalam), to the end of the hadith. Some people may say this good word not from the heart and with sincerity, but only to escape and be freed from what may befall them of a tax, for example, in the language of the present age, which is the jizyah in the language of the wise Shari'ah. To be free from that, the one who says it says: "There is no god but Allah," and the apparent Islamic rulings are applied to him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) indicated this reality by saying: , meaning the one who says it with his tongue but faith has not entered his heart. This person has saved himself, as we mentioned, from the jizyah and the like, and is treated with the treatment of Muslims, but his reckoning with Allah on the Day of Resurrection is another matter. As for the one who wants salvation in the Hereafter as well, and not just in this world, it is obligatory upon him to fulfill its right. And its right, as you know, is to act in accordance with all the rulings of the Shari'ah, and especially the five pillars. What concerns us here is drawing attention to all the rulings of the Shari'ah, because by looking at our being human, it may be that something of arrogance, delusion, and reliance upon the tawhid (the oneness of Allah) that saves the Muslim, as we mentioned earlier, may enter us, meaning us Salafis. We may do whatever deeds we wish that do not please our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, relying upon His saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Ibn Hibban 4:44, without remembering that this entering also has two interpretations, just as salvation from the Fire has that interpretation. The one who says: Sunan Abi Dawud 3116Sahih (Al-Albani)
The second interpretation is entering Paradise, meaning after he enters the Fire and receives what he deserves from it due to what his hands have committed. So it is not permissible for us to be deluded because we have known tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and known the creed, and then we neglect fulfilling the right of "There is no god but Allah," which is acting in accordance with the Islam brought by him (peace and blessings be upon him).
I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah.
أمرت أن أقاتل الناس حتى يشهدوا أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمد رسول الله فإذا قالوها فقد عصموا مني دمائهم وأموالهم إلا بحقها وحسابهم إلى اللهThe first is that this testimony saves its owner, or at least saves its utterer, from the punishment of this world, meaning from being killed.
I have been commanded to fight the people until they bear witness to La ilaha illallah
أمرت أن أقاتل الناس حتى يشهدوا أن لا إله إلا الله ...and their reckoning is with Allah
وحسابهم عند اللهWhoever says: There is no god but Allah, enters Paradise.
من قال: لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنةThere is no god but Allah" he will enter Paradise.
لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنةThe second interpretation is entering Paradise, meaning after he enters the Fire and receives what he deserves from it due to what his hands have committed. So it is not permissible for us to be deluded because we have known tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and known the creed, and then we neglect fulfilling the right of "There is no god but Allah," which is acting in accordance with the Islam brought by him (peace and blessings be upon him).
