The statement that Allah is the physician of His servants

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
It was mentioned during the lecture that Allah is the physician of His servants. Is this correct?

Answer:
That is, He treats them with what benefits them. Ibn al-Qayyim and others have mentioned this. He is their physician if they are upright, and He is their beloved if they deviate from the path. He is their physician, dealing with them as they deserve. The believer is successful, while the stubborn one is abandoned and afflicted with what harms him. There is no power and no strength except with Allah. However, this is not among the beautiful names of Allah, but the meaning is correct, just as it is said: "Allah is existent" and "a thing is existent," and that is not among the names of Allah. Allah created things and made things.

Question: Is it established from Abu Dharr?

Answer: I do not remember.

Question: He said: "What are you complaining about?" He said: "I complain of my sins." He said: "Shall we call a physician for you?" He said: "Is He not the One who laid me down?"

Answer: This is narrated from al-Siddiq, but I do not know its status. It is narrated from al-Siddiq, Abu Bakr, not from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). It may be from Abu Dharr. It may have been narrated from both of them, but it is not from the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
