The ruling on pronouncing divorce more than once in a state of anger

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
About three days ago, a dispute arose between me and my wife. On that day, I became extremely irritable to a degree I cannot imagine. So I grabbed a shoe—may Allah protect you—and hit my wife with it. I completely lost my consciousness, even though she is six months pregnant, and I have a two-year-old daughter in these difficult circumstances. My wife said to me: “Divorce me”—and I was angry—so I said to her: “You are divorced, divorced, divorced.” I said it more than once, and I do not know the exact number, but I am completely certain that it was more than once. Now I am confused. My wife is crying at home and does not want to be separated from me, and neither do I. Please advise me on what I should do, because I am not sleeping at night?

Answer:
This is from Satan—may Allah protect us and you from Satan. It was obligatory for you to be careful and not to be hasty in matters, and to seek refuge in Allah from Satan. This requires you to come to our house. If Allah wills, tomorrow we will look into the matter, or on Saturday, that is also fine. We will look into the issue with you, or with the woman and her guardian. It is necessary to look into the issue. If Allah wills, nothing but good will come of it.
