Our Islamic society suffers from intractable diseases that need a skilled doctor to intensify their treatment to eradicate them before they destroy this Muslim society. I ask you, Your Eminence, to shed light on this matter or offer advice to the general Muslims regarding it. If you see fit to dedicate one of the seminars to this topic—the topic of treating the diseases that our Islamic society suffers from.

May Allah reward you. This is a known matter, my brother. In fact, this is something witnessed by everyone who knows the world and the state of the world, and everyone who has investigated the conditions of people today in this country and elsewhere. They know that the enemies of Allah have gathered their efforts and have paid great attention to preventing people from the religion of Allah, deceiving them, and casting doubts upon them in every place. They spare no effort in misleading people and calling them to the falsehood they are upon, and casting doubts upon people, whether they are Christians, Jews, communists, or others from the categories of disbelievers. However, this necessitates that the people of Islam double their efforts against their enemy as long as they are targeted and they know this from their enemy.
Therefore, it is obligatory for them to stand against this aggression, to gather their efforts, and to cooperate in spreading the truth, exposing doubts, refuting falsehood, and calling people to good with all activity and all strength. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) says: [Al-'Ankabut: 2]. So people are being tested and afflicted. And He says (Exalted and Majestic is He): [Hud: 7]. And He, the Exalted, said: [Al-Kahf: 7]. He, the Exalted, said: [Al-Mulk: 2].
This is a trial and an examination. Allah tests the righteous with the wicked, and tests the wicked with one another, and the righteous with one another; so that it becomes clear who is sincere in his calling to Allah, who is patient in the calling to Allah, who is upright and persistent, who is weak and ignorant, who is lagging behind, and who is overpowered by his circumstances.
It is obligatory upon the scholars, upon the Islamic states, and upon everyone who is able with his wealth or his knowledge to support the da'wah, to help those who call to it, and to assist them in that with wealth, guidance, indication, intercession, and the like. There is no doubt that this is a great matter worthy of attention, and efforts are being expended in it, praise be to Allah.
And we ask Allah to make the means beneficial. The state, may Allah guide it, is supporting a great deal of this, and a large number of callers to Allah are on its payroll in various parts of the world; in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa, a large number, all of whom are calling to Allah. We ask Allah to help them, to bless their efforts, to grant them more beneficial knowledge, to grant them patience, and to facilitate for them helpers from all places among their brothers. We ask Allah to grant them good helpers who call to Allah with knowledge, insight, and sincerity for Allah, and desire for what is with Him .

وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًاIndeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ زِينَةً لَهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًاAnd it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed.
