Ruling on leaving one's wife with her family and not divorcing her

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I am a young married man, and my wife is pregnant. I left her with her family, and it has now been about a year. I do not love her; I hate her. Is there a sin on me for leaving her?

Answer:
Yes, yes. If she is asking for divorce, there is a sin on you; either you divorce her, or you fulfill her rights. But if she is content and forgiving toward you, saying, "Do not divorce me; I hope that Allah will guide you and that you will return to me," then there is no harm. However, if she says, "No, either fulfill the obligatory duties or divorce me," then you must fulfill the obligatory duties, or divorce her; one of the two.
As for if she is with her family, forgiving, not asking for divorce, and there is no disagreement, then you should think, seek guidance from Allah, and consult your friends and relatives. If she is good and from the people of goodness, righteousness, and uprightness, do not divorce her even if you hate her. Allah says:
perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.فَعَسَى أَنْ تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَيَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا
[Surat al-Nisa: 19]. Perhaps if you return to her, you will find goodness in yourself, and you will see in her what pleases you, and you will like her afterward. Do not rush.
