The ruling on a Muslim partnering with a disbeliever in commercial projects

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible for a Muslim to partner with a disbeliever in commercial projects or contracting?

Answer:
It is permissible if it does not involve corruption or evil, nor making the forbidden permissible, nor showing loyalty to him and taking him as a friend. However, it is safer to stay away from this; partnering with Muslims and taking a Muslim as a partner is more preferable and safer. For this reason, some scholars disliked partnering with a disbeliever. But if one does it, it is valid, provided he does not engage in what Allah has forbidden him from, such as loving him, showing loyalty to him, or the like. But it must be a mere partnership with money, seeking profit from it, without having any loyalty, love, or friendship with him; because it is obligatory to hate him for the sake of Allah.
