The ruling on making supplication loudly for the deceased while the people behind him say "Ameen" during burial

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on making supplication loudly for the deceased while the people behind him say "Ameen" during burial?

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. There is no objection to making supplication for the deceased from the time his soul departs, before burial, after burial, and thereafter, even if a long time has passed. One should always make supplication for the deceased if he is a Muslim. However, one should not raise his voice at the grave, nor should one person make supplication while the rest say "Ameen." There is no evidence for this practice. Rather, each person should make supplication for him on his own and not raise his voice in doing so.
