When Do We Resort to Tayammum?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Tell us about tayammum and its method? And when do we resort to tayammum?

Answer:
Answer: Tayammum is for the sick person for whom it is difficult to use water, and for the traveler who cannot find water. (And if you are sick, or on a journey, or one of you comes from the place of relief, or you have touched women, and you find no water, then perform tayammum). Tayammum is striking clean earth with the palms of the hands and wiping the face with the fingers, and wiping the two hands with each other using the palms in one strike. This is the best method. It is also permissible with two strikes: one strike for the face and one strike for the hands. It is a substitute for purification with water. This is for the sick person who has difficulty using water, or for one who has no water, or for one who has a small amount of water that is not sufficient for his purification and his needs. In that case, he prioritizes his needs and performs tayammum for purification. This is from the facilitation of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).
