The Virtue of Sacred Knowledge

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the virtue of learning sacred knowledge, and does it have limits?

Answer:
Answer: Yes, learning sacred knowledge with a good intention is among the best deeds. From Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it.” Learning the Qur'an is not limited to memorizing and reciting it; it also includes learning to act upon it, teaching it to people, explaining it, and clarifying its meanings to people. This is part of learning the Qur'an, because the Qur'an is the evidence for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He); it is the speech of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). That alone is sufficient: that it is the speech of Allah, Lord of the worlds, for our guidance, for clarifying our interests, and for warning us against what harms us. You will find that the Qur'an is entirely command, prohibition, or report: command to obey Allah and prohibition of disobeying Allah, or reports about past disbelieving nations and what befell them, or reports about the trials that will occur in the last times, how to guard against them, and how to be wary of them and warn others about them.
