Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This person is asking about supplication and what the etiquettes of supplication are when I want to make du'a, and what the formulas are? May you be rewarded.

Answer:
Answer: Supplication is of two types: making supplication with the supplications transmitted in the Book and the Sunnah, and the second type is to strive in supplication for one's need with what does not contradict the Book and the Sunnah. The door of supplication is open. (And your Lord said: "Call upon Me, I will respond to you. Indeed, those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell [in a state of] humiliation.") (So call upon Allah, being sincere to Him in religion.) One should increase in supplication and persist with Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) in that, for Allah loves it from His servant that he persist with Him in supplication.
