Your guidance regarding those who attend prayer with offensive odors

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Often, in some mosques, there are offensive odors such as garlic, onions, and smoke, and a lack of attention to the cleanliness of clothing and the reverence for the ritual of prayer and the mosques, as well as for the worshippers among Allah’s servants. What is your guidance, may Allah reward you?

Answer:
Answer: It is obligatory for the Muslim, when he heads to the mosque, to have a pleasant scent and for his clothes to be clean, because he is heading to one of the houses of Allah and is mixing with the worshippers, so he must not harm them with offensive odors. Therefore, whatever he can do to remove the offensive odor or at least reduce it, he must do so.
