Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a person travels during the month of Ramadan for a leisure trip or for other reasons, is he entitled to break his fast? And what are the conditions for travel that permit breaking the fast? May Allah reward you.

Answer:
Answer: The conditions for travel that permit breaking the fast are that the travel must be permissible, not travel for sin. And the distance must be reached, which is a two-day journey for a mount, estimated at approximately eighty kilometers. So, the travel must be permissible or travel for obedience, and it must not be travel for sin, nor must it be less than the specified distance, which is two days of walking on foot and the slow pace of loaded animals. This is taken from the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel a distance of one day and one night unless she has a mahram with her.” It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel a distance of two days unless she has a mahram with her. Yes.
