Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the difference between qada' and qadar? And what is the effect that follows from belief in qada' and qadar?

Answer:
Answer: Divine decree and destiny Belief in it is one of the six pillars of faith; you believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and you believe in divine decree, its good and its evil. It is a pillar of the pillars of faith, and there is no difference between divine decree and destiny, so you believe that Allah has decreed everything, and that nothing happens in this universe except by His decree and destiny—Glorified and Exalted is He—“And He created all things and determined them with precise determination” [Al-Furqan: 2], “Indeed, We have created all things with precise determination” [Al-Qamar: 49]. So belief in divine decree and destiny is one of the six pillars of faith.
