May blessings and peace be upon the leader of the white-foreheads, our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and upon his family and all his Companions. O Allah, teach us what benefits us, benefit us with what You have taught us, and increase us in knowledge, O the Generous. We welcome our brothers and sisters with the warmest welcome, in this pleasant and blessed gathering that brings us together with His Eminence, the distinguished scholar, Shaykh Salih ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan, a member of the Committee of Senior Scholars and a member of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta. Welcome, Shaykh Salih, to our brothers and sisters. The Shaykh: May Allah greet you and bless you.

Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and upon his family and all his Companions. All praise is due to Allah for His blessings that cannot be counted or enumerated. Among His greatest blessings is the security and stability that this land enjoys, along with prosperity in life, as a result of its adherence to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), in speech, belief, action, and teaching. It is a blessed land that was established upon this call, the call of the renewing Imam, Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab, which is an extension of the call of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), his Rightly Guided Caliphs, the best of generations, and the four Imams. It is a blessed, rooted call, firmly established, and praise be to Allah, we live under it with security, stability, and success from Allah, through the rulers He has provided for us, who share our creed. Our creed and theirs are one. They are the ones who supported this call from its inception and have continued to support it to the present day, and they will continue to do so, if Allah wills. This security we live in is the result of adhering to this blessed call, which is the call of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and this methodology we follow, which is the establishment of the community that follows its Imam and leader, the ruler, proceeding along this sound path, as individuals and as groups. This has provided Allah with security for this land, while other lands, as we see and hear, are in chaos, turmoil, and bloodshed, because they do not have an Imam upon whom they agree. Rather, every group considers itself to be the group that must be followed. As for this land, praise be to Allah, it is established upon a single line, which is the blessed call of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), his Rightly Guided Caliphs, and the best of generations, which was renewed and called to by the Imam, Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab, he and his descendants and those who came after him. Praise be to Allah, this land is in a good state, and will be in a better state, if Allah wills. And we, praise be to Allah, have come to know what is our right and what is our duty, and everyone has fulfilled what is obligatory upon them. So praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
