Question:
The questioner : Our respected Shaykh, Shaykh Saleh: Our blessed land, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and praise be to Allah, is living in this security, and experiencing this cohesion in the unity of its ranks, the agreement of its word, and the bond among its sons. What is the impact resulting from this, and what is obligatory for us regarding this?

Answer:
Answer: Yes, Allah has bestowed a favor upon this land by its adherence to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and by its implementation of the law of Allah, and the unity of its people under its leader. All of this is among the blessings of Allah upon this land, and among the greatest things by which this land is distinguished, after the implementation of the Shari'ah of Allah, is the service of the two Noble Sanctuaries, and the service of the pilgrims and those performing 'Umrah. This is among the greatest blessings upon this ummah (the Muslim community). The security of this land is security for the entire Islamic world, such that they perform Hajj and 'Umrah in safety and stability, and all praise and favor belong to Allah. Allah the Exalted said in describing this sanctuary: (And have We not made for them a secure sanctuary, to which the fruits of all things are brought as provision from Us, but most of them do not know?), and He said (Glorified and Exalted is He): (So let them worship the Lord of this House, Who has fed them from hunger and made them safe from fear). The security and stability that has occurred and continues to occur for the House for those who perform Hajj or 'Umrah, or who reside near it, is a response to the supplication of Ibrahim al-Khalil (peace be upon him) when he said: (My Lord, make this a secure land, and provide its people with fruits), and when he said (peace be upon him): (My Lord, make this a secure land, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols). This is among the blessings of Allah upon this land and its people, both government and people, that it is distinguished by the service of the two Noble Sanctuaries, and those who come to them as pilgrims, or for 'Umrah, or as visitors. This is among the greatest blessings from Allah upon His servants, where they perform Hajj and 'Umrah in safety and stability, and return to their lands safe and sound. This is among the greatest signs of (Glorified and Exalted is He), and among His greatest blessings upon His servants, so to Him belongs all praise and gratitude.
