Eating the slaughter of one who is ignorant of the Sunnah of slaughter

Question:
What is the ruling on eating from an animal slaughtered by one who is ignorant of the Sunnah?

Answer:
As long as he is a Muslim who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and he does not associate partners with Allah, then his slaughter is lawful; (So eat of that whereon the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His signs). The slaughter of a Muslim is lawful even if he forgets to mention the name, for it is lawful because the mention is in his heart and his creed.
