The ruling on saying (O my Lord, save me from the Fire) after the obligatory prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q223: The questioner asks: What is the ruling on saying, “O my Lord, save me from the Fire,” seven times in the Maghrib and ‘Isha’ prayers, and three times in the remaining prayers, after every prayer? And what is the ruling on saying, “O Allah, I ask You for Paradise,” three times after the prayers?
A223: As for after prayers other than Fajr and Maghrib, one should not say, “O my Lord, save me from the Fire,” because this is not reported except after Maghrib and after Fajr specifically. There is a hadith regarding this, but it is questionable and its chain is weak. However, if one says it acting upon this hadith, there is no harm in that; because a weak hadith is acted upon in the virtues of deeds, according to the scholars. As for asking for Paradise three times after Fajr, this has no basis, and no evidence has been reported for it.
