Engaging in the secret habit at night during Ramadan
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16784 )
Q2: A brother asked me, may Allah guide them, what is the ruling on engaging in the secret habit at night during Ramadan, and is its ruling the same as engaging in the secret habit during the day ?
A2: The secret habit is forbidden and it is not permissible to engage in it, neither at night nor during the day. Engaging in it during Ramadan is a greater sin and a more serious crime due to the violation of the sanctity of the month and the honor of the time. If it is done during the day of fasting by a person who is fasting, he must do the following: 1. Sincere repentance. 2. Completing the fast for that day. 3. Making up the fast after Ramadan. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
