Q: What is your opinion regarding what I did in Ramadan last year, namely that I engaged in the secret habit on two days of it in the early morning , and that I did it not out of ignorance or unawareness of its punishment, but because I was unable to overcome myself and sexual urges, and I say something like this question: What is your opinion, what should I do now?
A: It is obligatory to repent and seek forgiveness for engaging in the secret habit; because it is forbidden, not
especially during the day in Ramadan, along with making up the two days on which you broke your fast by engaging in the secret habit. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
