Q3: Is it permissible for one who is in a state of major ritual impurity to fast , and what did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say regarding that?
A3: It is permissible for a person to intend to fast while in a state of major ritual impurity, and then perform the full ritual bath for major ritual impurity afterwards; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes find the dawn while in a state of major ritual impurity, so he would fast and then perform the full ritual bath. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
