Ruling on combining prayers for a doctor during surgical procedures

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q547: The questioner says: I work as a doctor, and in the operating room, the doctor spends continuous hours in the operating room, and the time for one or two prayers comes in while he is at work. How does he perform the prayer? Does he pray after finishing the surgeries, or does he hasten to pray before the time enters?
A547: Here, regarding combining the two prayers, if work begins at the time the first prayer’s time enters, such as Dhuhr and Asr, then he prays the first prayer, Dhuhr and Asr, and then combines with it what follows, combining Dhuhr and Asr, and combining Maghrib and Isha as a combination of advancing, then he enters the operating room. As for if he will enter the operating room before the time of Dhuhr enters, or before the time of Maghrib enters, then he combines as a combination of delaying. So when he comes out of the operating room, he prays the combination of delaying Dhuhr with Asr, a combination of delaying, or Maghrib with Isha, a combination of delaying.
