A woman prioritizing voluntary fasting over making up fasts from Ramadan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18489 )
Q2: If a woman has fasts to make up from Ramadan, it is well known that prioritizing the obligatory over the voluntary is better. However, if a woman fasts voluntary fasts, such as the six days of Shawwal and the Day of 'Arafah, and then makes up what she owes at another time, is that permissible? I have heard on the Holy Qur'an Radio that it is permissible, and that 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) did not leave any voluntary fasting, and did not make up her fasts except in Sha'ban. Is this correct? And what is the ruling on my fasting
the six days of Shawwal and the Day of 'Arafah, having intended them as voluntary, while I have not yet been able to make up the missed fasts?

A2: It is more preferable and safer for the woman to begin with making up the fasts before voluntary fasting; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal. it would be as if he fasted perpetually.من صام رمضان ثم أتبعه ستًّا من شوال كان كصيام الدهر
Sahih Muslim 1164a
And one who has fasts to make up cannot be said to have fasted Ramadan until he makes up what he owes. Also, because making up the fasts is obligatory in the debt, so beginning with it is more preferable. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
