Q2: I heard some students of knowledge say: that it is not valid to combine
fasting on Mondays and Thursdays with fasting on the white days , but rather one should fast only one of them. Is this correct? And if so, why?
A2: What you heard, that one does not combine fasting on Mondays and Thursdays with fasting on the white days, is not correct. Rather, all of these are days on which fasting is recommended; for the evidence that has come regarding the encouragement to fast on them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
