Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 17805 )
Q1: If a child is born to me after the Maghrib prayer, how do I count the seven days ? Or until the two days separate at what time in every night? With clarification.
A1: The day begins with the rising of the second dawn, which is the true dawn, until the setting of the sun. The night mentioned is considered attached to the day that follows it, except for the night of the Day of Sacrifice, which is attached to the Day of 'Arafah in the ruling of Hajj. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
