Whoever intends to offer a sacrifice should not take anything from his skin, hair, or nails

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: It is well known that whoever intends to offer a sacrifice should not take anything from his skin, hair, or nails , but among the Sunnahs of entering the state of ihram is removing hair and trimming nails. So what should one do who intends to perform Hajj and will offer a sacrifice in his home country on his behalf? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good. And is the sacrificial animal of the one performing tamattu' sufficient for the 'Id sacrifice?
A2: If one enters the state of ihram in the last ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah, it is not permissible for him to take anything from his hair, nails, or skin upon entering ihram, if he intends to offer a sacrifice for himself or for himself and his household. However, if a Muslim man or woman performs 'Umrah in the last ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah and intends to offer a sacrifice, it is obligatory for him to shorten the hair of his head; because the completion of the 'Umrah depends on it. This does not fall under the prohibition regarding the one who offers a sacrifice taking anything from his hair, nails, or skin after entering the month of Dhu al-Hijjah until he offers the sacrifice; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered those performing tamattu' in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah to shorten their hair, and he did not distinguish between the one who intends to offer a sacrifice and others; this indicates the obligation of shaving or shortening the hair for the one performing 'Umrah in the last ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah, absolutely. And the sacrificial animal of tamattu' and qiran that is slaughtered in the Haram does not
suffice for the 'Id sacrifice; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered two camels in the Farewell Pilgrimage, and he had already offered one hundred camels as a sacrifice. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
