Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 8275 )
Q 1: I see some people slaughtering the 'Id sacrifice in the midday prayer, in the afternoon prayer, and at any time . Is this valid?
A 1: It is permissible to slaughter at night and during the day, and this applies equally to the sacrificial animal for the one performing tamattu' or qiran and to the 'Id sacrifice. The days of slaughter are: the day of the festival and the three days following it, and they end with the setting of the sun on the thirteenth day after the festival. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
