Blood coming from a person in the state of ihram through a nosebleed or otherwise
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 17955 )
Q1: Blood came from my nose on the day of Hajj before I entered the sacred precinct . I washed the blood when I entered the state of ihram and completed my Hajj. When I returned to my city, I found blood on the ihram garments after two years from the Hajj. Is my Hajj valid, or must I perform Hajj again? I am aware that I was ignorant of some matters of Hajj.
A1: Blood coming from a person in the state of ihram through a nosebleed or otherwise does not affect the validity of his ihram. However, if a large amount of blood comes from him and he wants to pray or perform tawaf around the House, he must wash the blood and perform wudu for the prayer or tawaf. If one prays or performs tawaf and then, after finishing, finds the trace of blood on his garment which he did not know about, or which he knew about but forgot, his prayer and tawaf are valid, if Allah wills, but he must wash the blood for the future. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
