Standing at 'Arafah during the day and not remaining until sunset at 'Arafah
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: Some of the brothers are seeking a ruling regarding a past Hajj of his: he left Makkah on the Day of 'Arafah, and then, after the heat of the day became intense, he left 'Arafah heading toward Makkah , and he rented an apartment for himself and his family and stayed there until the sun set. Is this Hajj of his valid, or is it invalid due to this action of his?
A2 : If the man mentioned stood at 'Arafah during the day and did not remain until sunset at 'Arafah , then he must offer a sacrificial animal; because remaining until sunset is obligatory, and he left it.
He must offer a blood sacrifice that is sufficient as an 'Id sacrifice, which is slaughtered in Makkah and distributed among the poor of the Haram. If he is unable to do so, he must fast for ten days. If he is accompanied by his family, and they are in a state of ihram for Hajj and return with him, as mentioned, then each of them must offer a fidyah that is slaughtered in Makkah and distributed among the poor of the Haram. Whoever is unable to do so must fast, as mentioned
