Leaving the Farewell Tawaf and Sa'y, and Traveling

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 19414 )
Q: I performed Hajj as a mutamatti' about five years ago, but after stoning the Jamarat al-Aqabah on the Day of Sacrifice, I slaughtered the hady, performed the first release, and stoned the three pillars on the three days of Tashreeq. Then I went to al-Masjid al-Haram and performed the Farewell Tawaf, and returned to Ta'if without performing
the Tawaf of Hajj or the Sa'y of Hajj
. The question is: Do I have a valid Hajj, and what is obligatory for me to complete the deficiency if I do have a valid Hajj?

A: If the situation is as described, you must hasten to go to Makkah and perform the Tawaf al-Ifadah and the Sa'y afterwards; because they are two pillars of Hajj that is not completed without them. And if you engaged in sexual intercourse during this period, you are also obligated to pay the fidyah; which is slaughtering a sheep in Makkah that is acceptable as an udhiyah, and distributing it to the poor of al-Haram . Your companions who did what you did are obligated to do what is obligated of you. If you traveled after the Tawaf al-Ifadah, that suffices you from the Farewell Tawaf, otherwise it is necessary upon you when traveling. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
