An amount of money that reaches the nisab, whether it is from the value of a falcon or otherwise

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 20940 )
Q1: I bought a falcon and sold it for a fair price. What is required of me,
does he owe zakah on his wealth if a lunar year has passed, or does he owe a fifth by analogy to buried treasure
?

A1: If you have an amount of money that reaches the nisab, whether it is from the value of the falcon or otherwise, and a lunar year has passed since you took possession of it, then zakah is obligatory on it. The amount is: one-quarter of a tenth, i.e., (2.5) percent. The value of the falcon is not counted as buried treasure. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
