The second question of Fatwa No. ( 15347 )
Q2: A man intended to perform Hajj alone, passing through the miqat of Yalamlam . After arriving in Makkah , he performed tawaf and sa'y for arrival. Then he went to Madinah for visitation while still in the state of ihram. Upon his return from Madinah to complete the rites of Hajj, he passed through the miqat of Madinah, performed ghusl, and put on the ihram garments he had been wearing again. He then traveled to Makkah , and this was before the Day of Tarwiyah. He then performed tawaf again and sa'y as well. What is the legal ruling in this case, even though he completed all the rites?
A2 : One who enters the state of ihram for Hajj alone is only required to perform one sa'y. His repetition of sa'y upon his arrival from his country, and then after his visitation to Madinah, is not prescribed, and he owes nothing.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
