Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said regarding the usurers who consume usury:[Al-Baqarah 2:275], meaning: they will not rise from their graves at the Resurrection except like the rising of one who has been seized by a jinni and mixed with them. This is because the usurer, may Allah protect us from that, has a swelling belly, so when he tries to stand up, he falls down, and every time he tries to stand up, he falls down, a disgrace for him among creation. He resembles one who has been seized by jinn and devils. This is evidence of the mixing of jinn with humans. This is a fixed and known matter by experience and perception: that the jinn mix with
the human and he mixes with them, and they afflict him; because the human may be harmful to them, and they want to take revenge on him, or because they play with him, or for other purposes they desire.
