Q1: There was a man who smoked until he became insane. Is it permissible to give him zakah along with the people mentioned in Surat al-Tawbah?
A1 : If the mentally ill person is a Muslim and poor, it is permissible to give him from the zakah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
