Q1: Is it permissible for meto give my father's wife and her young children from my zakah? Knowing that my father is ill and unable to work, and his daughters are also in a state of deficiency, and none of the sons has a job, nor is any of them married?
A1 : It is not permissible to give your zakah to your father’s children and his wife, who are under his support; because this is equivalent to giving your zakah to your father, and it is not lawful for him. And because if they are poor and you are wealthy, you are obligated to provide for them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
